-- White Elephant Gift Exchange: If you would like to participate (completely optional) in the gift exchange, please bring a beekeeping or bee themed related item between $20 - $25 dollars.

-- Bring your Red Raffle Tickets for a chance to win high dollar gift certificates!!

-- Food: Members will bring either a type of salad, side, or dessert based on the first letter of your last name (see below).

One-Day Introduction to Beekeeping Course

(a.k.a. Beekeeping Short Course)

January 18, 2024

8:00 - 4:00p.m.

Our one-day beekeeping course is for new beekeepers. Bobby Torbush, Master Beekeeper, will take you through your first year of beekeeping, from preparing for the arrival of your colonies to preparing them to survive winter. This course is also an excellent refresher for beekeepers to gain more confidence in working with their bees. During the day, you will have the opportunity to meet members of the Coweta Beekeeper Association, and there will be plenty of time for questions.

Breakfast, snacks, and lunch are included for the day.

Join us at Redneck Gourmet for dinner, drinks and conversation on Monday, August 26. Arrive when you can. You pay for your own dinner/drinks.

Board member, Bobby Torbush, will be hosting a Nuc Installation demonstration. ACTIVE/CURRENT CBA MEMBERS ONLY. You may join at the workshop for $20, CASH ONLY. Participants will need to bring their own bee suit/veil for protection. A release form will need to be signed in order to participate. Additional directions: 27 South to Luthersville, left at the traffic light, first left on 54 North, the first building on the right (Interstate Glass Company.)
